Agreed!
Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Anthony McFarland is comfortable with his surroundings, and understands his role with the team. But yet so-called fans consider him a bust after only one year. So I am here to explain just how wrong they are.
McFarland, a 5’8″..208lb rookie rb out of Maryland played a minimal role in the span of 11 games. Averaging 3.4 yards per carry, on 33 rushes, accumulating 113 yards with a long of 20. May seem mediocre to most, but understand this..the guy was a rookie.
Highlights from his time at Maryland, check his stats. From his freshman year to sophomore, 23 games..245 attempts…1646 yards with 12 touchdowns. 131 touches his freshman year, averaging 7.9 yards per carry. Sophomore year? 114 carries for 614 yards. Now here’s the capper.
The Steelers will pick a running back in the first round of the 2021NFL Draft, Najee Harris being the main choice. But if that doesn’t go through, McFarland will definitely take the reigns. He has exactly what it takes to be a starter in the league. #HereWeGo
