Steelers Media And Fans Need To Get Off The Claypool Trade

Photo courtesy of TMZ Sports Video still/Steelers World 1

What? You never got in an altercation in your lives? And the altercation that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Chase Claypool was everything “but” an altercation, let alone a “Bar Fight” like it was made out to be. Check the video below.

Now come on now. That wasn’t even remotely considered a fight by anyone’s standard. Not go mention anything worth trade talks like Still Curtain writer, Tommy Jaggi wrote in his article “Steelers Consider WR Chase Clapool After Recent Bar Fight?

JAGGI: Chase Claypool has given us more than enough reasons to be concerned about his character moving forward.

Are you freaking kidding me? You mean to tell me that Claypool, who in his rookie year surpassed most veteran with 62 receptions, 873 yards and 9 touchdowns should be traded? That 22 year old phenom, Chase Claypool? SHUT THE FUCK UP!

And of course, Jaggi’s article stirred up controversy between Steelers fans on Facebook. The majority of which were against the “trade” innuendo, but there have been a few clueless fans who jumped on the Trade Trade.

Look, Claypool did nothing but push a couple of people off the pile, actions due to protecting a female friend of his who was standing near by. And if you notice at the end of the video, Chase did everything to avoid confrontation. So just let it go. #HereWeGo

Steelers Hater Cowherd Needs To..STFU

Cowherd, Man Crush still burns for Big Ben

I am officially sick and tired of this Pittsburgh Steelers Hating Moron. So sick and tired that I am actually taking the time to say just how sick and tired of Colin Cowherd I really am in my own forum. “GET YOUR POPCORN READY!”

Courtesy of The Herd Podcast

First of all, how did that 8-8..7-9 season turn out for you Colin? Because I do believe the Steelers had 11 solid wins before coming across their first loss. So there is one strike on your moronic takes and predictions.

Second, why are you always comparing Ben Roethlisberger to Tom Brady? Ben is no Brady, because Ben never had to “cheat” to gain his Super Bowl Victories. As far as Tom putting in the work in the off-season? Take a gander at the body on that douche below.

Now, if you consider that a quarterback who takes care of his “body” and puts in work, there must be an absolute mess under that $27 button ups you wear on a daily basis. You’re not FLY’re not FLYYYYY! Mike Pence is Fly!

You see, this is a surefire sign of someone who has no idea what they are talking about. Someone who can’t even begin to fathom what it’s like in the National Football League, or any athletic league for that matter.

QUOTE: “I’m going to say something and uh, you’re gonna think it’s crazy.”

Another surefire sign of someone who has no idea what they’re talking about. Because we don’t think what you’re saying is crazy, “WE” think “YOU” are “CRAZY” you “MORON!”

So you honestly believe that Ben Roethlisberger would not be a proverbial Hall of Famer if he wasn’t drafted by Pittsburgh?

P.S. Be sure to follow my homie Adam Steel on YouTube☝

Ok, let’s go this route. If your Butt Buddy Brady wasn’t drafted (out of my alma mater) by the Patriots, he wouldn’t have deflated balls..filmed other team’s practices or sucked referees penises.

Seriously, the most idiotic argument I have ever heard in my life. Phillip Rivers? Would have the Rings? LMMFAO! Colin, your statisticians are honestly Fucking with you. Because we all know that you don’t research your asinine facts that don’t mean a crock of Brady.

Rivers was an “ok” quarterback in an elite system. Roethlisberger was an elite quarterback in an a elite system. Phillip would have never produced the numbers, records or wins like Big Ben has produced. Why? Because he is/was just as soft as you Colin.

So my advice to you is this..”SHUT THE FUCK UP!” And I don’t even need stats to prove’s just facts. #HereWeGo

Peterson To Steelers At The Veteran Minimum Just Makes Sense

Seriously, who cares about him disciplining his children? Personally I think these bad ass kids nowadays need their asses whooped when it calls for it. Because I believe many would look past all that for the opportunity to pick up proverbial Hall of Fame running back, Adrian Peterson.

At the age of 35, Peterson still has quite a bit left in the tank. Not a 5 year deal fuel left of course, but a good 1 maybe two in order mentor and groom young RB’s on the roster. Hopefully one of those young running backs can be college standout, Najee Harris out of Alabama.

Peterson was a seven-time Pro Bowler, a four-time first-team All-Pro and he was also named 2012 NFL MVP after rushing for 2,097 yards and 12 touchdowns. The fuel is still in the tank do to bouncing around to teams that did not use him and his talent properly.

After Peterson missed all but three games in 2016, he moved on by signing a two-year deal with the New Orleans Saints. After just four games, Peterson was traded to the Arizona Cardinals. Spending one year with the Red Birds before being shipped off to The Washington Football Team, formerly known as the Redskins.

In his first season with Washington, Peterson rushed for 1,042 yards on 251 carries and 7 touchdowns. Followed by a 211 touches, 898 yard, 5 touchdown season in year two with the WFT. Do you see what I am getting at here?

The following season with the Detroit Lions, Peterson went for 604 yards on 156 rushes and yet another 7 touchdown year. Most of which were done in the redzone.

The vision..the patience..the burst. Adrain Peterson has not lost a single step. In fact, he has gained a step or two because a couple of those teams above dis not use him correctly.

So my point is this. You pick up a stud in free agency for the minimum. Paste him in behind a line that will be improved, and have him show the youngsters the ropes..while pushing the running game forward? No brainer.

Long story short..the Steelers should sign Peterson, a proven veteran with fight, and we draft Harris..or (even case scenario) Travis Etienne out of Clemson, how dangerous would that backfield be? I am talking Jerome Bettis..Willie Parker dangerous. Because I see it as something defensive coordinators would want nothing to do with. #HereWeGo

Pardon My French..But F*** Le’Veon Bell

Photo courtesy of Chiefs Wire/USA Today

Here we go..again! Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Le’Veon Bell is now back in the spotlight for certain clueless fans. Who for some reason would welcome this injury prone athlete with open arms. But the majority of them feel the exact same way that I do.

But of course Steelers media stirred the pot, seen in this article by Behind The Steel Curtain’s writer Michael Beck. Click on his name to see the article.

Remember the hopes of those fans wanting Bell back after the New York Jets cut ties with him? Well, I had to nip that in the bud real quick. Then came the tweet from Le’Veon after being picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs that solidified my hatred for the man.

How absolutely pathetic is a tweet like this? Especially since Bell did absolutely nothing to get the Chiefs in that position. Yet he still chose to bask in the glory with getting a blade of grass touching one single notch of his cleats.

But real Steelers fans didn’t let him get away with the tweet, here is one from Michael Bitterman:

Then there was the shorter, simple tweet by one Alex K:

But then you have the “jock riding” fans like SteelCurtain322, who seems to believe that Bell made a “business decision”:

Really? Le’Veon was due to make $15 million with the Pittsburgh if he had signed his contract. But chose to sign to play for the Jets at a lesser price. How is that a business decision? I will tell you how.

Le’Veon wanted something for nothing, and once head coach Adam Gase hit the sidelines, he was extremely quick showing him the locker room door. Because he knew that Bell’s focused attention was not on the ‘team’ but on himself.

During his time with New York, Bell accumulated 789 yards..on 245 carries with 3 touchdowns in 2019. Respectable. But once the 2020 season hit and his many injuries came into play, Gase made a wise decision in releasing him ASAP. Going 74 yards on 19 touches with zero TD’s before joining Kansas City.

Bell then signed a 1 year, $705,000 contract with the Chiefs, but I guess SteelCurtain322 still wants to believe it was a ‘business decision’. Nope! It was Le’Veon Bell trying to get something for nothing like I stated earlier.

Why else would he miss the playoff games with the team, and rack up ZERO yards on ZERO carries. Getting humiliated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9 on the largest stage in the NFL. Yet some of you fans want to even entertain the thought of wanting him back.

Look..Le’Veon Bell was a monster in the beginning with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but once his “garbage” music came into play he forgot about the Steelers.

So pardon my French, but “FUCK LE’VEON BELL!” I would rather bring back Super Bowl Champion, Antonio Brown before him. By the way..that was a lie. “FUCK AB TOO!” #HereWeGo

Big Ben And Steelers Will Prove Naysayers Wrong

Look, I get it. I get that the Pittsburgh Steelers are the most hated team in the National Football League. Why? Because regardless of the (tainted) Super Bowl victories by Tom Brady and The New England Patriots, they are still the Best organization/team in the NFL. But it seems some “so-called” experts want to think otherwise.

These Colin Cowherd, Dan Graziano and Mike Tannenbaum types are obviously clueless when comes to football..especially the Steelers. Because if I am not mistaken, the team has not had a losing season since Ben Roethlisberger was drafted 11th overall in the 2004 NFL draft. But here is their ridiculous predictions.

GRAZIANO: “If this contract is the best the Steelers can do, they’re not in less trouble than they were. Will be very difficult to build around Roethlisberger.”

Really? Difficult to build around Roethlisberger? You mean the quarterback that has spent 18 years in the league? The quarterback in NFL history that accumulated 50 wins in his first 5 seasons? That Roethlisberger?

TANNENBAUM: “I hate this move. It guarantees (the) Steelers will have the worst QB in the division for another 2 years.”

LOL! When has Roethlisberger ever been the worst quarterback in the AFC North? Keep in mind, Ben beat Lamar Jackson twice, Baker Mayfield once after coming off a week off where he did not play. A situation I wish Mike Tomlin would have went against. Mason Rudolph barely losing to the Cleveland Browns the week before the playoffs.

VIDEO BELOW: Now let’s look at Roethlisberger’s accomplisments, and configure in why he restructured his contract..yet again. The last time he restructured, the Steelers went to the Super Bowl a third time with Big Ben at the wheel.

The stats speak for themselves. Ben as accumulated more records for the Pittsburgh Steelers than previous 4x Super Bowl Champion, Terry Bradshaw. Yet these “know it all” idiots think he is going to falter? The man is a machine! He is like a Chevy truck, you may have to apply maintenance once in a while, but it always comes back stronger.

So mark my words, the Steelers will remain at the top of the division next year, and every year Roethlisberger is the quarterback. I think we need to focus more on the offensive line and the running game before you try to break the QB position down.

SURPRISE: Steelers One of A Dozen Teams Interested In J.J. Watt

Is it really any surprise at all? The Pittsburgh Steelers are interested in signing the newly released J.J. Watt according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.

Ok, first of all let’s rip the Cleveland Browns out of the mix. Because who really believes that J.J. would choose to go to the rival team of his brothers, T.J. and Derek Watt? Nope..not gonna happen, not in that close nit family.

You see? Jenna Harner from WPXI Sports gets it. I mean, who doesn’t see this transaction taking place? Other than those who don’t believe that the elder Watt can be productive in the black & gold. But those who believe that are absolutely clueless. Because J.J. would not only make a great addition to the Steelers already vamped defense, but can become a leader the defense is missing.

We are already looking at ‘possibly’ losing Bud Dupree, but just picture and imagine if he ends up staying. You would have TJ & Dupree coming off the edge, with JJ at the bookends with Cam Heyward and Tyson Alualu as the centerpiece. What offense would want to stare that down? Oh, and did I forget the mention that the Watt brothers would be wreaking havoc from the same side?

Keep in mind, the highlights above are from last season, but some think that J.J. is washed up. Yet the seasoned vet continues to still produce because he wants to win.

“I don’t think it’s any secret that I don’t have 10 years left in this league,” Watt said when asked if he wants to finish his career with the Texans. “I personally believe that I do have a few more great ones left in me, but I’m not looking to rebuild. I’m looking to go after a championship, and that’s what I want to do.

“Whatever is in the best interest of the Houston Texans, that’s in the best interest of myself. I’m interested in winning a championship in this league. That’s every player’s goal.”

And isn’t that the Steelers way? Blue colored, care less about money, in it for the love of the game? That is what J.J. Watt is about. And why I believe he will wear number 99 in the Black & Gold. Because no other team gives him the opportunity to win that elusive Super Bowl Championship he so deserves.

VIDEO: McFadden Recounts Harrison’s 101 Yard Int. For TD

Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback, Bryant McFadden recounts the epic 100-yd Pick Six for James Harrison in Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay versus the Arizona Cardinals.

MCFADDEN: “He had no energy … he laid out for 7 to 8 min in the locker room” 😂

McFARLAND: I Feel Like I Am Where I Am Supposed To Be

Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Anthony McFarland is comfortable with his surroundings, and understands his role with the team. But yet so-called fans consider him a bust after only one year. So I am here to explain just how wrong they are.

McFarland, a 5’8″..208lb rookie rb out of Maryland played a minimal role in the span of 11 games. Averaging 3.4 yards per carry, on 33 rushes, accumulating 113 yards with a long of 20. May seem mediocre to most, but understand this..the guy was a rookie.

Highlights from his time at Maryland, check his stats. From his freshman year to sophomore, 23 games..245 attempts…1646 yards with 12 touchdowns. 131 touches his freshman year, averaging 7.9 yards per carry. Sophomore year? 114 carries for 614 yards. Now here’s the capper.

The Steelers will pick a running back in the first round of the 2021NFL Draft, Najee Harris being the main choice. But if that doesn’t go through, McFarland will definitely take the reigns. He has exactly what it takes to be a starter in the league. #HereWeGo
